12 days model itinerary for Japan private tour

Day 1: Arrival

Arrive at Tokyo airport. Your guide will pick you up from the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Overnight in Tokyo

Day 2: Shopping Spree in Tokyo

After the breatkfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel.

Akihabara: Tokyo's famous pop-culture district, filled with shops selling Anime, Manga, and faming merch.

Ginza: Tokyo's classic central shopping district.

Shibuya: major commercial district with malls and department. 

Harajuku: Dig deep in to the side streets to discover the ever-changing, tiny boutiques and second hand stores.

Overnight in Tokyo

Day 3 : Culture of Japan

After the breatkfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel.

Meiji Jingu (Meiji Shrine): It is Tokyo's signature Shinto Shrine and a major tourist attraction. A shrine visit is a great way to participate in Japanese culture.

Sensoji Temple: The "Thunder Gate" at the entrance to Tokyo's oldest temple, Sensoji, is instantly recognisable with its enormous chochin (lantern).

Ghibli Museum: The museum captures the spirit of wonder that makes the Studio Ghibli films so enchanting and several beloved characters are worked into the design.

Overnight in Tokyo

Day 4: Day trip to Kamakura

After the breatkfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel. Travel to nearby city of Kamakura by rapid train.

Hase Kannon:  It  is one of the Buddhist temples famous for housing a massive wooden statue of Kannon 

Komachi Street:  It is a peculiar strip of modernity in the center of an ancient city, where trendy boutiques, gourmet cuisine, and a timeless ambience rub shoulders.

Kotoku-in (Big Buddha):  The temple is renowned for The Great Buddha of Kamakura which is one of the most famous icons of Japan.  

Overnight in Tokyo

Day 5: Trip to Nikko & Kinugawa hot spring

After the breatkfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel. Travel to Nikko by rapid train.

Tosho-gu:This Shinto shrine is one of the most elaborate and beautiful in the country and features the best traditional architecture and artisanship.

Kegon-no-taki: You can stand on a platform and witness one of Japan's three most beautiful waterfalls cascade 97m froma lake down to the rocks below.

Overnight in Nikko (Kinugawa hot spring)

Day 6 : Transfer to Osaka

After the breakfast your guide wil pick you up from the hotel. Travel to Osaka by rapid & bullet train.

Enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji from the rapid train.

Day 7: Universal Studio in Osaka

Enjoy a day out at Universal Studio Japan.

Universal Studios Japan: a theme park located in Osaka and it is one of six Universal Studios theme parks worldwide. Rides and attractions for all ages, inclduing Harry Potter - and Super Nintendo - themed worlds.

Overnight in Osaka

Day 8: Osaka city tour

After the breakfast your guide wil pick you up from the hotel.

Osaka Castle:  The castle and fortress are one of Japan's most famous landmarks and it played a major role in the unification of Japan during the sixteenth century of the Azuchi-Momoyama period 

Abeno Harukas: Get a bird's eye view of the city at the top.

Shin-Sekai: Explore the retro and grittily nostalgic neighbourhood with the main landmark of Tsutenkaku.

Dotonbori: Osaka's most popular hangout spot, especially around the famous Ebisu-bashi bridge.

Overnight in Osaka

Day 9 : Old Kyoto tour

After the breakfast your guide wil pick you up from the hotel.

Kinkakuji (Golden Pavillion): Famous not only for the eponymous villa standing regally above a reflective pond, but for its stroll garden of water and moss.

Heian Jingu:  A giant torii gate marks the approach to the shrine, around which there are a couple of museum.  

Fushimi Inari Sanctuary: Walk beneath the 30,000 red fates.

Gion: Traditional geisha quarter. There are plenty of restaurants and quiet streets after dark.

Overnight in Kyoto

Day 10: Kyoto city tour

After the breakfast your guide wil pick you up from the hotel.

Otagi Nenbutsu-ji: Hundreds of comically carved Buddhist Jizo Statues

Gio-ji: Kyoto's most atomospheric temple with a moss landscape that's a subtle contrast of greens.

Arashiyama Bamboo Forest:  The sound of the rustling bamboo within this forest has been named one of the “100 Soundscapes  

Walk to Katsuragawa to enjoy the river view of Kyoto

Overnight in Kyoto

Day 11: Day trip to Nara

After the breakfast your guide wil pick you up from the hotel.

Todai Temple: The 15m tall bronze is the highlight of Nara. Feel peace under the gently curved rood of one of the world's largest and most beautiful wooden buildings.

Nara Park: Deer symbolise the Buddha's most essential teachings and there are about 1,500 deer in this park

Overnight in Osaka

Day 12: Return to Tokyo

Pick up from the hotel and transfer to the airport by bullet train
